1468 — Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad informed us; he said: Yusuf ibn Ya‘qub related to us; he said: Ishaq ibn Bahlul al-Anbari related to me; he said: My father related to us, from Warqa’, from Husayn, from Jubayr ibn Muhammad ibn Jubayr, from his father, from his grandfather, who said regarding the words of Allah, Most High, “And the moon was split”: “It split while we were in Mecca.”
