1392 — Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us: Isma'il ibn Muhammad informed us; Sa'dan ibn Nasr related to us; Sufyan related to us, from Amr, from al-Hasan ibn Muhammad, who said:
“The first discussion of divine decree arose when the Ka'bah was burned. ⦗825⦘ One person said, ‘It was by Allah’s decree that the Ka'bah was burned,’ while another said, ‘This was not by Allah’s decree.’”
١٣٩٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: " أَوَّلُ مَنْ تَكَلَّمَ فِي الْقَدَرِ حِينَ احْتَرَقَتِ الْكَعْبَةُ ⦗٨٢٥⦘ قَالَ قَائِلٌ: كَانَ هَذَا مِنْ قَضَاءِ اللَّهِ أَنِ احْتَرَقَتِ الْكَعْبَةُ فَقَالَ آخَرُ: مَا كَانَ هَذَا مِنْ قَضَاءِ اللَّهِ "
