1389 — Isa ibn Ali informed us: Abd Allah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim related to us; Hammad ibn Zayd related to us, from Ayyub, who said:
“I encountered the people here, and their constant expression was: ‘If He decrees, and if He ordains; if He decrees, and if He ordains.’”
١٣٨٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، قَالَ: " أَدْرَكْتُ النَّاسَ هَاهُنَا، وَكَلَامُهُمْ: وَإِنْ قَضَى وَإِنْ قَدَّرَ، وَإِنْ قَضَى وَإِنْ قَدَّرَ "
