1387 — Mahdī ibn Muhammad al-Naysābūrī related to us: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Dallūyah related to us; Abu al-Azhar Ahmad ibn al-Azhar related to us; Anas ibn Iyāḍ related to us, from Abu Hazim, from Amr ibn Shuʿayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “No servant truly believes until he believes in the Divine Decree.”
Abu Hazim said: “May Allah curse a religion that is more recent than I am”—meaning, the denial of the Divine Decree.
١٣٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ دِلُّوَيْهِ، ثنا أَبُو الْأَزْهَرِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ قَالَ: ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُؤْمِنَ بِالْقَدَرِ» قَالَ أَبُو حَازِمٍ: لَعَنَ اللَّهُ دِينًا أَنَا أَكْبَرُ مِنْهُ يَعْنِي التَّكْذِيبَ بِالْقَدَرِ
