1329 — Ahmad informed us. Muhammad informed us. Ahmad ibn Zuhayr narrated to us. He said: Ahmad ibn Abd al-Wahhab ibn Najdah narrated to us. He said: Al-Walid—that is, Ibn Muslim—narrated to us, from al-Mundhir ibn Nafi, who said: I heard Khalid ibn al-Lajlaj saying to Ghilan: “Woe to you, Ghilan! Was it not enough for you in your youth that women would throw apples at one another during Ramadan? Then you became a Harithi, screening off a woman and claiming that she was the Mother of the Believers. Then you turned away from that and became a Qadari heretic.”
