105—Kuhi ibn al-Hasan informed us; Ahmad ibn al-Qasim informed us; al-Hasan ibn Hammad Sajjadah informed us; Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, from Abu Ja‘far al-Razi, from al-A‘la ibn al-Musayyib, from his father, who said: Abdullah said:

106—And Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Humayd al-Bazzaz informed us, saying: Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Sa‘id al-Bazzaz informed us; Yusuf ibn Ya‘qub narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Sabiq narrated to us; Abu Ja‘far al-Razi narrated to us, from al-A‘la ibn al-Musayyib, from his father, who said: Abdullah said: “We follow the example of those before us and do not initiate anything; we follow and do not introduce religious innovations. So long as we hold fast to the transmitted reports, we shall never go astray.” ⦗97⦘ Their wording is identical.
