It is narrated from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr: “The Qadariyyah are Jews.” From al-Sha‘bi: “The Qadariyyah are Christians.” From Nafi‘, the freedman of Ibn ‘Umar: “The Qadariyyah are to be executed.” Al-Mazini related from al-Shafi‘i that he declared them disbelievers. From Ibrahim ibn Tahman: “The Qadariyyah are disbelievers.” And from Ahmad ibn Hanbal is the same view as that of Malik and Abu Thawr.
