99—Isa ibn Ali informed us; Abdullah ibn Muhammad al-Baghawi informed us; Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih narrated to us; Isa ibn Yunus informed us; from al-Awza‘i, from Hassan ibn Atiyyah, who said: “Gabriel, peace be upon him, would descend upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with the sunnah just as he descended upon him with the Quran, teaching it to him just as he taught him the Quran.”
