1250 — Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Tusi informed us; Muhammad ibn Ya‘qub related to us; Abu ‘Utbah related to us; Baqiyyah related to us; Tammam ibn Najih related to us: “I heard al-Hasan when a man came to him, seized the reins of his mount, and said, ‘You misguided man who leads others astray! How long will you continue misleading people?’

Al-Hasan said, ‘What do you mean by that?’

The man replied, ‘You claim that whoever is killed unjustly has been killed before his appointed term.’

He said, ‘Then who will consume the remainder of his provision, you wretch? Let go of the animal! He was killed at his appointed term.’

The man said, ‘By Allah, I would not trade what I heard from you today for all that the sun rises upon.’”
