1205 — Ahmad ibn Muhammad informed us: Abdullah ibn Sulayman narrated to us: Hafs ibn Amr al-Raqashi narrated to us: Asim ibn Sulayman al-Abdi narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Umar narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn Umar, who said:
A man came to Abu Bakr and said, “Do you consider fornication to be by divine decree?” He replied, “Yes.” The man said, “So Allah decreed it for me, then He punishes me?” He replied, “Yes, O son of fornication! By Allah, if I had someone at hand, I would order him to ⦗735⦘ break your nose.”
١٢٠٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّقَاشِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْعَبْدِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ: أَرَأَيْتَ الزِّنَا بِقَدَرٍ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدَّرَهُ عَلَيَّ ثُمَّ يُعَذِّبُنِي؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ يَا ابْنَ الْخَنَا، أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَوْ كَانَ عِنْدِي إِنْسَانٌ أَمَرْتُ أَنْ ⦗٧٣٥⦘ يَجَأَ أَنْفَكَ
