82—Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman informed us: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us; al-Husayn ibn al-Hasan al-Marwazi narrated to us; Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us.

83—Ahmad ibn Umar ibn Muhammad informed us: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Isma'il informed us; al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us; Abd al-Wahhab ibn Abd al-Majid narrated to us; Ja'far ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from his father, from Jabir, who said:

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, would say: “To proceed: the best speech is the Book of Allah; the finest guidance is the guidance of Muhammad; the worst matters are those newly introduced; and every innovation is misguidance.”

Muslim transmitted it.
