1163 — Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ja‘far and ‘Abd Allah ibn Ahmad al-Muqri’ informed us; they said: Ahmad ibn ‘Ali informed us: Ziyad ibn Ayyub informed us: Hushaym narrated to us: Abu Hashim informed us, from Mujahid, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said:
The Qadariyyah were mentioned in his presence, so he said, “If I were to see one of them, I would bite his nose.”
Mujahid said: Ibn ‘Umar said, “Whoever among you sees one of them ⦗713⦘ should say: ‘Ibn ‘Umar declares himself free of you.’”
١١٦٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ , وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ: ثنا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ , عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ الْقَدَرِيَّةُ فَقَالَ: لَوْ رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ لَعَضَضْتُ أَنْفَهُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ: قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ: مِنْ رَأَى مِنْكُمْ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ ⦗٧١٣⦘ فَلْيَقُلْ: إِنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ مِنْكُمْ بَرِيءٌ
