He said: Biyah ibn Muhammad narrated to us—someone other than al-Nufayli ⦗697⦘ said: al-Qushayri—from Qasim, who said: from al-Nufayli ibn Hazzan, from al-Zuhri, from Halbas ibn Wabisah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: “A gate of polytheism has been opened upon the people of prayer: denying divine decree. So do not debate with them, lest their polytheism be wrought through your hands.”
