1113 — Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Abbas informed us: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Sa'id narrated to us: al-Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Yazid narrated to us in Beirut.
1114 — And Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Farisi informed us: Muhammad ibn Ja'far ibn Milas narrated to us: al-Abbas ibn al-Walid narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb ibn Shabur informed us: Umar ibn Yazid al-Basri informed me, from Amr ibn Muhajir, the head of the guard of Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, from Yahya ibn al-Qasim, from his father, from his grandfather Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“No nation has ever perished except through associating partners with Allah; and no nation has associated partners with Him until the first appearance of its polytheism was the denial of the divine decree.”
Their wording is identical.
