1112—Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us. He said: Muhammad ibn Abd Allah informed us. He said: Musa ibn Harun Abu Isa al-Tusi narrated to us. He said: Yunus ibn Ubayd Allah al-Umayri narrated to us, from Sufyan al-Thawri, from Umar ibn Muhammad, a man from among the descendants of Umar ibn al-Khattab. Sufyan said: “I met him at one of the frontier posts of Syria,” from a man, from Ibn Abbas, who said: “Allah has bound the divine decree together with tawhid (His oneness). Whoever denies the divine decree has thereby undone tawhid.”
