75—He said: Ahmad informed us; Umar informed us; Nasr informed us; Ishaq informed us; Aththam ibn Ali informed us, from Abd al-Malik, from Ata, concerning the saying of Allah:

“Obey Allah, obey the Messenger, and those in authority among you.” [Al-Nisa 4:59]

He said: “They are those possessed of understanding in religion and those possessed of knowledge. Obedience to the Messenger is to follow the Book and the sunnah.”
