He said: Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Zahrani narrated to me. He said: Abbad ibn Abbad al-Muhallabi narrated to us. He said: Isma'il ibn Abd al-Salam narrated to us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Bakr, “Had Allah willed that He not be disobeyed, He would not have created Iblis.”
