72—Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Umar informed us: Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hatim narrated to us; Abu Sa‘id al-Ashajj narrated to us; Abd Allah ibn Khirash al-Shaybani narrated to us, from al-Awwam, from Sa‘id ibn Jubayr, concerning the saying of Allah Most High:
“Indeed, I am surely Most Forgiving to whoever repents, believes, does righteous deeds, and then remains steadfast.” [Ta-Ha 20:82]
He said: “Then remained steadfast.” He said: “Adhering to the sunnah and the community.”
