1002 — Muhammad ibn Ja‘far informed us; ‘Ubayd Allah ibn Thabit informed us; Ahmad ibn Mansur related to us; ‘Abd Allah related to us; Mu‘awiyah related to us, from ‘Ali ibn Abi Talhah, from Ibn ‘Abbas concerning His saying, “So because You have led me astray” [al-A‘raf 7:16]: he said, “You have caused me to go astray.”
