986—ʿAli ibn ʿUmar ibn Ibrahim informed us; Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAttab narrated to us; ʿUbayd ibn ʿAbd al-Wahid narrated to us; Nuʿaym ibn Hammad narrated to us ⦗615⦘; Hushaym narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from Mujahid, from Ibn ʿAbbas, who said concerning, “May the hands of Abu Lahab perish!” [al-Masad 111:1]: “It was by what the Pen had decreed in the Preserved Tablet.”
