61. Ahmad informed us; Abd al-Rahman related to us; Ahmad ibn al-Abbas al-Hashimi narrated to me; Muhammad ibn Abd al-Ala narrated to us, saying: I heard Mutamir ibn Sulayman say:

“I came to my father, deeply distressed, and he asked, ‘What is wrong with you?’ I said, ‘A friend of mine has died.’ He asked, ‘Did he die upon the sunnah?’ I replied, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘Then do not fear for him.’”
