to Him. And His saying: “We worship them only so that they may bring us nearer to Allah” [Surah al-Zumar, 39:3]; and His saying: “Had Allah willed, they would not have associated others with Him” [Surah al-An‘am, 6:107]. Exalted is He in praise, He says: “Had Allah willed, He could have gathered them all upon guidance” [Surah al-An‘am, 6:35].
وَقَوْلُهُ: ﴿مَا نَعْبُدُهُمْ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَا إِلَى اللَّهِ زُلْفَى﴾ [الزمر: ٣] وَقَوْلُهُ: ﴿وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكُوا﴾ [الأنعام: ١٠٧] . يَقُولُ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُهُ: ﴿وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَى﴾ [الأنعام: ٣٥]
