And concerning His saying: “Those who associate others with Allah will say, ‘Had Allah willed, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him.’” [Surah al-An‘am, 6:148]; and His saying: “Had Allah willed, neither we nor our forefathers would have associated others with Him.” [Surah al-An‘am, 6:148]; and His saying: “Had Allah willed, He could have gathered them all upon guidance.” [Surah al-An‘am, 6:35]
وَفِي قَوْلِهِ ﵎: ﴿سَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا﴾ [الأنعام: ١٤٨] وَقَوْلِهِ: ﴿لَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا وَلَا آبَاؤُنَا﴾ [الأنعام: ١٤٨] ، وَقَوْلِهِ ﴿وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى الْهُدَى﴾ [الأنعام: ٣٥]
