956 — Al-Hasan ibn Uthman informed us: Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al-Zubayr informed us: Ibrahim ibn Ishaq related to us: Ya'la ibn Ubayd related to us: Sufyan related to us, from Asim, from Zirr, from Abdullah, concerning His saying, exalted is He, “And We have shown him the two paths” [al-Balad 90:10]. He said: “Good and evil.”
٩٥٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ﴿وَهَدَيْنَاهُ النَّجْدَيْنِ﴾ [البلد: ١٠] قَالَ: الْخَيْرُ وَالشَّرُّ
