945—Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar al-Naḥwī informed us; ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Thābit al-Ḥarīrī related to us; Aḥmad ibn Manṣūr related to us; ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ṣāliḥ related to us; Muʿāwiyah ibn Ṣāliḥ related to us, from ʿAlī ibn Ṭalḥah ⦗596⦘, from Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding: “Only those of His servants who have knowledge truly fear Allah.” [Fāṭir 35:28] He said: “They are those who say: ‘Indeed, Allah is capable of all things,’” in explanation of His saying, Exalted is He: “Indeed, We have created all things according to a precise decree.” [al-Qamar 54:49]
٩٤٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ النَّحْوِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْحَرِيرِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ قَالَ: ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ⦗٥٩٦⦘، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ﵁ ﴿إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ﴾ [فاطر: ٢٨] قَالَ: الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ فِي تَفْسِيرِ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿إِنَّا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَاهُ بِقَدَرٍ﴾ [القمر: ٤٩]
