942—ʿAbd Allah ibn Muslim ibn Yaḥyā ibn ʿAbd Allah, ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿAbd Allah, and ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muḥammad informed us; they said: al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl informed us; he said: Hārūn ibn Isḥāq related to us; he said: Abū Khālid al-Aḥmar related to us, from Saʿd ibn Ṭāriq, from Ribʿī ibn Ḥirāsh, from Ḥudhayfah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Every good deed is charity, and indeed Allah creates every maker and what he makes.”
Al-Bukhārī transmitted it in his book Refutation of the Qadariyyah, and Muslim transmitted it in his Ṣaḥīḥ through this chain.
٩٤٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالُوا: أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ طَارِقٍ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «الْمَعْرُوفُ كُلُّهُ صَدَقَةٌ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ صَانِعٌ كُلَّ صَانِعٍ وَصَنْعَتَهُ» أَخْرَجَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي كِتَابِ الرَّدِ عَلَى الْقَدَرِيَّةِ وَأَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْ هَذَا الطَّرِيقِ
