930—Ahmad ibn ‘Ubayd informed us; he said: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn informed us; he said: Ahmad ibn Abi Khaythamah narrated to us; he said: al-Haytham ibn Kharijah narrated to us; he said: al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, saying: I asked al-Awza‘i, Sufyan al-Thawri, and Malik ibn Anas about these hadiths that mention the vision, and they said: “Let them pass as they have come, without asking how.”
٩٣٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، يَقُولُ: سَأَلْتُ الْأَوْزَاعِيَّ وَسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ، وَمَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ عَنْ هَذِهِ الْأَحَادِيثِ الَّتِي فِيهَا ذِكْرُ الرُّؤْيَةِ , فَقَالُوا: «أَمِرُّوهَا كَمَا جَاءَتْ بِلَا كَيْفَ»
