made entrance into Paradise, deliverance from the Fire, safety from the punishment of the grave, and protection from the hardships and stumbling of the Day of Resurrection; complete good news in the life of this world and in the Hereafter; steadfastness in this world upon faith and obedience, and at the moment of death and in the grave upon faith, pure monotheism, and a sound, beneficent answer.
He has likewise tied to faith a wholesome life in this world, ample provision and goodness, His guiding the servant to the easiest course and shielding him from the hardest one, tranquillity of heart, repose of soul, full contentment, rectitude of affairs, upright offspring who become a delight to the believer’s eyes, and patience in the face of trials and calamities.
Included, too, are Allah’s carrying of their burdens, His repelling every evil from them, victory over enemies, the lifting of blame from any among them who forget, are ignorant, or err, His removal of shackles and fetters so that He does not burden them with what is beyond their capacity, the forgiveness of sins by virtue of their faith, and His enabling them to repent.
Faith, therefore, is the greatest means of drawing near to Allah, drawing near to His mercy, attaining His reward, securing forgiveness of sins, and removing or lightening hardships.
In detail its fruits are too many to enumerate; in summary, every good of this world and the next is conditioned upon faith, just as every evil results from its absence. Allah knows best.
