Hadith Thirty-Five

46 – With the same chain up to Ibn Khayrūn, my maternal uncle Abū ʿAlī informed us; Abū ʿAbd Allāh ibn Dūst informed us; Judge Abū Ḥafṣ al-Ashnānī informed us; Abū Ibrāhīm Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbbād informed us; my father narrated to me from my grandfather ʿAbbād ibn al-ʿAwwām, from Abū Ḥanīfah, from Ibrāhīm ibn al-Muntashir [from his father] (1), from Anas ibn Mālik, who said:

“I have never inhaled a scent more pleasant than the fragrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
