Hadith Fourteen

17 – With this same chain down to Yusuf ibn Khalil: Abu Jaʿfar al-Tarsusi informed us; Mahmud ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Muhammad narrated to us; Abu al-Qasim al-Ṭabarani narrated to us; Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to us from ⦗29⦘ ʿAbd al-Razzaq, from Abu Hanifah, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, who said that ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿud ruled: “When an unmarried man fornicates with an unmarried woman, each of them is to be lashed one hundred times and banished for a year.”
