The commendations voiced by the scholars for the transmitters whose reports al-Bukhārī includes in his Ṣaḥīḥ, alongside the critiques leveled by certain ḥadīth masters against a few of them and the reply to those critiques:
Al-Shawkānī, in the course of affirming the soundness of the ḥadīth “Whoever shows enmity to a friend of Mine…,” has already stated: “Every one of its narrators has crossed the bridge and risen.”
