…after Muhammad ﷺ is a disbeliever; and whoever endorses him is likewise a disbeliever in Allah, for no prophet will come after him ﷺ. Many have claimed prophethood since his time, yet Allah exposed their falsehood. Among the most recent was the Indian claimant Ghulam Ahmad al-Qadiani. He first presented himself as a scholar and devout worshipper, then alleged that he was ‘Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary), and finally proclaimed himself a prophet. He now has followers known as the Qadianiyyah. The Muslim community has unanimously judged them unbelievers, repudiated them, and classed them as a sect outside Islam. They are opposed and driven out—praise be to Allah—from Muslim lands. Although they remain active, their efforts consistently fail. In short, there is no prophet after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; anyone who claims prophethood is a liar, just as he ﷺ said: “The Hour will not be established until nearly thirty great impostors appear, each asserting that he is a messenger of Allah.”
