Sharh Thalathat al-UsulSalih Al-Fawzan

And whoever denies the Resurrection has disbelieved. The proof is the Almighty’s statement: “Those who disbelieve claim they will never be resurrected. Say: ‘Yes indeed—by my Lord—you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you used to do. That is easy for Allah.’” (al-Taghābun 64:7). [73]

…good deeds. Other scholars contend that the disbelievers will indeed be subjected to an evidentiary reckoning: their deeds, their disbelief, and their atheism will be set forth to them, after which they will be driven to the Fire. The Scale (al-mizan) is the instrument by which people’s deeds will be weighed: good deeds are placed on one pan and bad deeds on the other. Allah says, “So those whose scales are heavy—it is they who will prosper; and those whose scales are light—it is they who have ruined their own souls” (Surah al-Muminun, 102–103). When the bad deeds outweigh the good a person is ruined, whereas if the good deeds outweigh the bad he succeeds. This is the Scale of deeds. Likewise, whoever is given his record in his right hand will have an easy reckoning, while the one who receives it in his left will have a harsh reckoning and will behold immense terrors, passing from one ordeal to another amid the stations of Resurrection, Reckoning, and Gathering—matters of staggering magnitude if we but reflected upon them. (73) The clause “Whoever denies the resurrection has disbelieved” means that he has rejected a pillar of faith and belied Allah, His messengers, and His scriptures, all of which affirm the resurrection; therefore, whoever denies it is a disbeliever, as evidenced by His saying:
