The Reckoning and the Balance
After the resurrection, people will be brought to account and requited for their deeds. The proof is the Almighty’s word: “To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, so that He may recompense those who do evil for what they have done and reward those who do good with the finest reward.” (al-Najm 53:31). ⦗72⦘
And He, exalted is He, says: “Is not the One who created the heavens and the earth able to create their like? Indeed, He is the All-Creating, the All-Knowing.” (36:81). He also says: “Surely the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of humankind, yet most people do not know.” (40:57).
These verses further prove the Resurrection: Allah will raise those in the graves and recompense every soul for its deeds—good for good and evil for evil. Let the unbeliever, the sinner, the heretic, and the atheist persist if they wish; before them stands the Resurrection with its revival, requital, and reckoning. As for the God-fearing believer who worships Allah and seeks His nearness, his deeds will never be lost: an appointed time awaits when Allah will repay him in full, multiply his reward, and grant him blessings beyond anything he could have imagined.
(72) Among the events of the Day of Resurrection are the reckoning (hisab) and the Balance (mizan); the reckoning here refers to the detailed interrogation of those who committed sins.
الحساب والميزان
وبعد البعث محاسبون ومجزون بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ، وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسَاءُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُوا بِالْحُسْنَى﴾ [سورة النجم: ٣١] . [٧٢]
قال تعالى: ﴿أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ بَلَى وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ﴾ [يس: ٨١] . وقال تعالى: ﴿لَخَلْقُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾ [غافر: ٥٧] .
فهذه أدلة البعث التي تثبت أن الله ﷾ يبعث من في القبور، وأنه يجازي كل عامل بعمله إن خيرًا فخير وإن شرا فشر، فليكفر الكافر وليفسق الفاسق والزنديق والملحد فإن أمامه البعث والنشور والجزاء والحساب، أما المؤمن المتقي الذي يعبد الله ويتقرب إلى الله فإن عمله لن يضيع، فإن هناك موعدًا يوفيه الله فيه عمله ويضاعف له أجره ويعطيه ما لم يقع في ظنه وحسبانه.
