And the proof is the Almighty’s statement:

“Indeed, those whom the angels take in death while they were wronging themselves, the angels will ask, ‘What state were you in?’ They will answer, ‘We were oppressed in the land.’ The angels will say, ‘Was not Allah’s earth spacious enough for you to emigrate within it?’ Such people will find their refuge in Hell—what an evil destination—except for the helpless men, women, and children who have no means and can find no way out; it is they whom Allah may well pardon, for Allah is ever Pardoning, Forgiving. Whoever emigrates for the sake of Allah will find on earth many places of refuge and abundant provision. And whoever leaves his home, emigrating to Allah and His Messenger, and then death overtakes him—his reward has already become incumbent on Allah. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” [al-Nisāʾ: 97–100]. [65]
