The proof of His Lordship and His exclusive right to be worshipped:
The evidence is His saying—exalted is He:
“Among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate yourselves to the sun or to the moon; rather, prostrate yourselves to Allah who created them, if it is Him that you worship.” (Fussilat 41:37) [7]
…—have the night ever failed, or the day ever ceased? Their Maker is the All-Powerful, the All-Wise: “This is the handiwork of Allah, who perfected everything” (Q 27:88).
(7) This is further proof of His Lordship and divinity: “And among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon.”
The sun—the mighty star that lights the universe as a blazing lamp—and the moon—a light that brightens the night and illumines people’s paths—serve countless purposes. They sustain earthly life, nurturing its trees, fruits, and seas. Were the sun to disappear, the world would be harmed and many human livelihoods would collapse; the same would be true if the moon were lost. The moon, moreover, benefits vegetation and enables the calculation of time, as the Almighty says:
الدليل على ربوبيته وإلاهيته ﷾
وَالدَّلِيلُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: ﴿وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ﴾ [فصلت: ٣٧] [٧]
الليل أو تعطل النهار؟ لأن صانعه قدير حكيم - جل وعلا -: ﴿صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ﴾ [النمل: ٨٨] .
[٧] هذا دليل على ربوبيته وإلهيته ﷾: ﴿وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ﴾ .
الشمس والقمر: الشمس الكوكب العظيم الذي يضيء الكون سراجا وهاجا، كما قال الله تعالى، والقمر نور يضيء الليل، ويضيء الطريق للناس، ومن مصالحهما أيضا إصلاح الكون بأشجاره وثماره وبحاره، فلو اختفت الشمس عن الكون لتضرر الكون وفسدت كثير من معايش الناس ومصالحهم، ولو اختفى القمر كذلك، القمر أيضا فيه منافع للثمار والأشجار، مع ما فيه أيضا من معرفة الحساب،، قال تعالى:
