falsehood without emerging victorious, as Allah Most High says:
“And Our forces will certainly prevail.” 1.
I have read Shaykh Dr Abd al-Razzāq’s response on this subject and found it, praise be to Allah, sound, fully meeting its purpose, and supported by convincing arguments. In it, he follows the path of the righteous predecessors, the people of knowledge and insight. As Imam Ahmad—may Allah have mercy on him—said in his introduction:
“Praise be to Allah, who has preserved, in every period without messengers, a remnant of scholars who give sight to the blind, bring the dead to life through Allah’s Book, and defend Allah’s Book against the false attributions of those who spread falsehood and the interpretations of the ignorant…”
And so he continued—may Allah have mercy on him. This is part of Allah’s mercy and a confirmation of the words of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:
“A group of my community will continue to prevail in upholding the truth. Neither those who forsake them nor those who oppose them will harm them, until the command of Allah—Blessed and Exalted is He—comes while they remain in that state.”
May Allah grant the Doctor the best reward for championing the truth and refuting falsehood. May Allah guide everyone who has strayed from what is right back to the truth. May Allah bless our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his Companions, and grant them peace.
