958 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abū Maʿmar narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl narrated to us, from his father, from Abū Ḥāzim, from Abū Hurayrah, who said: “I met seventy of the Ahl al-Suffah (the People of the Veranda), and not a single one of them possessed even an izar (a basic waist-wrapper).”
