950 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Yahya ibn ʿUthman al-Harbi narrated to us; Abu al-Mulayh narrated to us, from Maymun, who said:

A man from the Muhajirun noticed another man shortening his ṣalāh to an extreme degree. He rebuked him, whereupon the latter said, “I suddenly recalled a piece of land that belongs to me.” The Muhajir replied, “You have abandoned something far more valuable than any estate.”
