928 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Abu Musa al-Ansari narrated to us; Yunus ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ishaq, who said: “There were people among the inhabitants of Medina whose livelihood reached them from a source they did not know. When ʿAli ibn al-Husayn—may Allah have mercy on him—passed away, the nightly provisions they had been receiving ceased.”
