917 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Wakiʿ narrated to us; Zakariyya narrated to us, from ʿAmir, who said: ʿAʾishah wrote to Muʿawiyah:

“To proceed: when a servant commits disobedience to Allah, those who once praised him among the people turn back to censuring him.”
