913 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Wakiʿ narrated to us; Usamah ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ishaq, the freedman of Zaydah, from ʿAʾishah—may Allah have mercy on her—who said: “I wish I had been a tree that people cut down; I wish I had never been created.”
