911 – ʿAbdullah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from al-Aʿmash, from Abu al-Duha, who said: Someone who had heard ʿAʾishah recite the verse, “And remain in your homes” (Surah al-Ahzab, 33) ⦗136⦘ told us that she would weep until her headscarf was drenched.
