905 – ʿAbd Allah related to us; my father narrated to me; Abū ʿUbaydah narrated to us; al-Rabīʿ ibn Muslim al-Qurashī narrated to us, from Abū ʿUthmān al-ʿIjlī, who said:

Ibn Masʿūd said, “If worthlessness were a man, it would be a wicked man.” He would also say, “Procrastination (al-maʿk) is injustice enough—al-maʿk is simply the deferment of payment.”
