898 – ʿAbd Allah related to us; my father related to me; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related to us; Sufyān—and likewise Wakīʿ—related to us, from Sufyān, from Abū Isḥāq, from Abū al-Aḥwaṣ, from ʿAbd Allah, who said: “It is enough of a lie for a person to go about repeating everything he hears.”
