893 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to me; Sufyān ibn Wakīʿ narrated to us; my father narrated to me, from Isrāʾīl, from ⦗134⦘ Abū Isḥāq, from ʿAmr ibn Maymūn, who said:

ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿūd said: “If the people of Hell were merely promised that the punishment would be eased for them for a single day, they would die of joy.”
