ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Sufyān narrated to us; he said:

“A man was praised in the presence of the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He asked, ‘How is his remembrance of death?’ They replied, ‘He is not like that.’ He said, ‘Then he is not as you claim.’”
