877 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Abu Muʿāwiyah and Wakīʿ narrated to us. They said: al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Ṣāliḥ ibn Ḥayyān—Abu Muʿāwiyah al-Kabsī said—from Ḥuṣayn ibn ʿUqbah, from Ibn Masʿūd, who said: “Among mankind, those who will carry the most sins”—and Wakīʿ added, “the greatest wrongdoing on the Day of Resurrection”—“are the ones who plunge most into falsehood.”
