870 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to us, from Abū ʿAwanah, from al-Aʿmash, from Tamīm ibn Salamah, from Abū ʿUbaydah, from ʿAbd Allah, who said: “Whomever Allah wills good for, He grants him understanding in the religion.”
