862 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; my father narrated to us; Wakīʿ narrated to us; Sufyān narrated to us, from Abū Ḥuṣayn, from Yaḥyā, from Masrūq, who reported that ʿAbd Allah said: “When you rise in the morning while fasting, begin the day by anointing yourselves with oil.”
